The first stage of the BAS4SC Educational Competition focuses on applying analytical and problem-solving skills to a practical logistics challenge.

At this stage, teams are expected to work collaboratively on a real or simulated dataset and prepare a concise presentation of their findings and recommendations.

Objectives of Stage 1:

• to demonstrate the ability to analyze logistics data and identify key patterns or inefficiencies,
• to use Business Intelligence and statistical tools to support data-driven conclusions,
• to present results clearly, logically, and visually in a professional format.

Materials provided:

• Data Set – a dataset prepared by the organizers, containing logistics and operational data to be analyzed.

Deliverables:

Teams are required to submit both:

• a written report (based on the Word template), and
• a presentation file summarizing their main findings and recommendations.
