BAS4SC in Celje: Pilot of the C1 Module – Workshops for Students
From January 13–17, 2025, the first pilot workshop of the Business Analytics Skills for the Future-proof Supply Chains (BAS4SC) project was held at the Faculty of Logistics, University of Maribor, in Celje, Slovenia. The event brought together students and academic staff from the project’s partner universities.
The goal of the workshop was to test the teaching materials developed for the C1 module, which focuses on business analytics in the context of supply chain management.
The program included intensive lectures, hands-on exercises, workshops using analytical tools, and case study analyses. Students engaged in problem-solving tasks, decision-making simulations, and case discussions that enabled them to apply theoretical concepts in practice.
The fourth day featured a decision-making game and case studies based on the C1 textbook. On the final day, participants took part in a student competition designed to assess their analytical skills in a practical setting. The workshop concluded with an evaluation session and a discussion of the test results and plans for the next stages of the project.
The workshop in Celje marked the first stage in testing the teaching materials developed under the BAS4SC project, which aims to modernize education in supply chain management and strengthen students’ analytical competencies.
