BASC Initiative – a New Collaboration Network in Business Analytics and Supply Chain Competencies

The first meeting to launch the network will take place on April 20, 2026, and will serve as the inaugural event. During this meeting, the process of defining the initiative’s objectives and identity will begin. The network’s primary goal is to strengthen collaboration between universities, research institutions, and business partners in developing competencies related to business analytics, artificial intelligence, and digital tools used in supply chain management. Participants will also formulate a concept for the network’s program.

Another important element of the inaugural meeting will be building the core partnership. Participants will identify key stakeholders, including universities and industry partners. The agenda for future working meetings will also be discussed, with a focus on developing a shared vision, defining partners’ expectations, identifying potential areas of collaboration, and outlining a pilot project. This stage will culminate in preparations for signing letters of intent, which will formally confirm the partners’ commitment to the development of the network. Work will also begin on the network’s organizational structure and governance model. In addition, a preliminary action plan for the network’s first year of operation will be developed. The inaugural meeting will therefore not only formally launch the initiative, but also serve as a key moment in defining its direction and long-term operations.
