J.J. Strossmayer University in Osijek - UNIOS was founded in 1975, and the Faculty of Economics in Osijek (EFOS), as its oldest member, in 1961. Located in eastern part of Croatia, it acts as a regional centre of knowledge, research and excellence. UNIOS consists of 11 faculties (economics, law, humanities and social sciencies, education, medicine, dental medicine and health care, agriculture, food technology, civil engineering and architecture, electrical engineering, computer science and information technology, catholic faculty of theology), 4 university departments (mathematics, physics, biology and chemistry) and Academy for art and culture. During the past 30 years, 26.665 students have graduated from different faculties, which have greatly contributed to the social and economic development of eastern Croatia. University had 14.263 students in academic year 2020/2021. There are 611 professors and other teaching staff, and 349 administrative and other staff.
Faculty of Economics in Osijek (EFOS) offers undergraduate, graduate, postgraduate specialist and doctoral programs. EFOS provides postgraduate courses and research activities focused mainly on management, entrepreneurship, information systems and regional development. EFOS currently employs 67 teachers and 38 administrative and other staff. EFOS is the only HEI in Croatia providing education in entrepreneurship from undergraduate to doctoral level, including life-long learning program. EFOS always changed its curriculum along the changed needs of the labor market. In 2005, within the framework of university reform following the Bologna Declaration, EFOS altered its study programs according to European standards and requirements. In 2011, Faculty of Economics has gone through a successful process of international accreditation and received IQA (International Quality Accreditation CEEMAN) certificate. EFOS is especially recognized for its contribution in the field of entrepreneurship, for what it has been awarded with UNESCO Chair for Entrepreneurship.
EFOS has significant experience in management of and partnerships in national and international projects and projects with industry, local government, and civil society.

PhD, Prof.
DAVOR DUJAK PhD is a full professor at the Faculty of Economics in Osijek (J.J. Strossmayer University of Osijek, Croatia) involved in several courses on undergraduate, graduate and postgraduate level: Business Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Transportation and Warehousing, Supply Chain Planning. His master thesis is from category management, and his PhD is from Retail Supply Chain Management – both from University of Osijek. He has published 56 scientific papers in scientific journals and conferences, co-authored 1 scientific book and 2 textbooks and edited 6 scientific books. As an active scientific researcher, he has participated in 8 scientific projects and 3 professional international projects. He was also the leader of an Erasmus+ project “Modern Logistics Learning: Certified module on master study level”, and an Erasmus+ project „Virtual Visiting Professors“ at the Faculty of Economics in Osijek. So far, he has given several lectures at universities in Italy (Niccolo Cusano University, Rome), Poland (Krakow University of Economics and Poznan School of Logistics), Germany (Chatolic University Eichstat-Ingolstadt), Slovenia (university of Ljubljana), Hungary (University of Szeged) and United States of America (University of Minnesota, Carlson School of Management, Minneapolis). He is intensively attending additional education. In 2009, he spent five months in scientific and professional training at the University of Minnesota (Minneapolis, USA), Carlson School ofManagement as part of the Junior Faculty Development Program scholarship funded by the Department of State of United States of America. From 2020 until 2021, he also worked as Chief specialist for logistics development in Łukasiewicz Research Network - Institute of Logistics and Warehousing, Poznan (Poland). Davor Dujak serves as member of editorial board of journal Logforum, Econviews: Review of Contemporary Business, Entrepreneurship and Economic Issues, Journal of Logistics and Sustainable Transport, Journal Economics Ideas and Practice, and Editor-in-chief of Proceedings of international scientific conference Business Logistics in Modern Management. He was in charge of group of professors who developed master study program “Logistics Management” at Faculty of Economics in Osijek, which is only European Logistics Association certified study program in Croatia.

PhD, Assist. Prof.
JELENA FRANJKOVIĆ, PhD is full-time employed at the Faculty of Economics in Osijek, J.J. Strossmayer University of Osijek as an assistant professor.
She participates in teaching the following courses: Business logistics, Supply chain management, Transport and warehousing, Logistics planning in the supply chain, Retail logistics, and Retail marketing. For all classes, she uses e-learning platforms, mostly Zoom and Merlin, which provide opportunities for more interactive classes, homework, and case studies.
She defended her doctoral dissertation in October 2019, titled “Antecedents and effects of retail price image”. Her research areas are retail supply chains, pricing, and retail marketing. She published 24 scientific papers. She participated in the development of master level study “Logistics Management”, certified by the European Logistics Association.
She has years of experience as a member of the Organizational Committee of the International Scientific Conference “Business Logistics in Modern Management”. She actively participated in two successful Erasmus+ projects. Five times she participated in Erasmus+ mobility, both teaching, and training activities.
She attended statistical education on Statistical methods in research and Education in structural equation modeling. She finished the Program of pedagogical-psychological-didactic-methodical education at the Faculty of Education in Osijek.
She has 2.5 years of working experience in the local company in the department of foreign sales, where she was dealing with foreign partners, products pricing, and coordination of logistics issues like demand planning, inventory management, and transport.
Other skills include advanced usage of Ms Office, SPSS, and Amos.

PhD, Assist. Prof.
DARIO ŠEBALJ, PhD is an assistant professor at Faculty of Economics in Osijek, Josip Juraj Strossmayer University of Osijek. In 2011 he completed his graduate study „Business Informatics“ at the Faculty of Economics in Osijek. In 2014 he enrolled in the postgraduate doctoral study Management at the same faculty, and on October 15, 2019 he defended his doctoral dissertation entitled: "Simulation model of the natural gas supply chain in the Republic of Croatia in the function of cost optimization" and thus obtained a Ph.D. in social sciences, the scientific field of economics.
In February 2013, he founded the company A.T.I.C. j.d.o.o. where he worked as a business solutions consultant. From 2014 to 2020 he was employed at the Faculty of Economics in Osijek as a Teaching and research assistant at the Department of Quantitative Methods and Informatics. Since April 2020, he has been employed as a Postdoctoral researcher at the same department where he is involved in courses: Informatics, Information Resources Management, Design and Implementation of IS, Enterprise Resource Planning Systems (ERP), Business Process Management, Project Management, and Logistics Design in Supply Chain.
From 2014 until today, he has been involved in the publishing activities of the Faculty as an Assistant Editor (from 2014 to 2020), and Executive Editor (from 2020) of the journal Ekonomski vjesnik (Econviews).
As a member of the organizing committee, he also participated in the organization of international scientific conferences Business Logistics in Modern Management (from 2015), Interdisciplinary Management Research (2019), and Conference on Operational Research KOI (2016). He was also a member of the program committee of the International Scientific Conference IBIMA (2020), and the Scientific Committee of the International Scientific Conference EBES (2020). He was a researcher on the scientific project of the Croatian Science Foundation entitled "Methodological framework for efficient energy management with the help of intelligent data analytics", led by Marijana Zekić Sušac, Ph.D. (from 2017-2021), and on Erasmus+ project "Modern Logistics Learning: Certified Module in Master Study Level".
